Nutrition education can be defined as any set of learning experiences designed to facilitate the voluntary adoption of eating and other nutrition-related behaviors conducive to health and well-being.

Mobile Teaching Kitchen
The Mobile Teaching Kitchen is a renovated short school bus equipped with multiple kitchen amenities for the purposed of bringing nutrition education and cooking demonstration to community members who would otherwise not have access. The Hartford Food Project partners with Husky Nutrition, Hartford Health and Human Services, local chefs and other providers to bring this information to Hartford residents.
